A visual history of rotary dial phones is a self initiated project to paint some of the classic designs of old style telephones. Initially I was just attracted to the variety and colour of the finished objects but in a time when the difference in look of mobile phones is almost entirely based on screen dimensions it’s interesting to reflect on the history of this simple device.
